Guest guest
I need ideas. We're going to an " adult " birthday party saturday. Everyone is supposed to bring appetizers. It's at a bar. What can I take. I need something I'd be able to eat as I doubt I'd be able to eat much else that's brought. And we're talking about a biker crowd here. HELP!?!?! Guest guest
You could do a deli meat and cheese tray, chili in a crock pot, veggie tray with a low fat dip, fruit tray with a fruit dip, a suger free desert (go to meals.com or allrecipes.com), Chicken enchiladas (cook your chicken in a crock pot the day before, use low fat ingredients) Try the web sites they have good ideas!! Good luck hun!! Hugs!! > > I need ideas. We're going to an " adult " birthday party saturday. > Everyone is supposed to bring appetizers. It's at a bar. What can I > take. Guest guest
I thought about some sort of bean dip. I'll have to find a recipe I like. That & some chips would be simple. Guest guest
, Here are a few ideas: shrimp artificial crab wrapped in bacon with a toothpick deviled eggs w/ low fat mayo baked hot wings w/o breading and create your own hot sauce meatballs (use lowfat cream of mushroom soup and some seasonings or use Atkins low/no sugar BBQ sauce) spinach dip Here is one that everyone loved that I did recently for a potluck: stuffed mushrooms caps (I stuffed them with a stir-fried combination of ground pork, onions, garlic, and then added cheese, then stuffed the mushroom caps and baked until top was crusted) If I think of any others, I'll post them. Guest guest
You could make a low fat veggie pizza. Here's the recipe Take one roll of Low Fat Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, lay flat on a sprayed cookie sheet and bake as directed. Mix one large block of lowfat or fat free cream cheese with one 16 oz container of low fat or fat free sour cream. Mix in one packet of dry ranch dressing mix. Spread the mixture on the cooled crescent roll crust. Top with finely chopped veggies. Faves include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green peppers, onions then finish off with shredded lowfat or fat free cheese. Cut into small squares and serve on cookie sheet. Don't tell them it's fat free. No one will know the difference! _____ From: GastricBypass-LOSERS [mailto:GastricBypass-LOSERS ] On Behalf Of Woodard Sent: Wednesday, September 06, 2006 9:14 PM To: GastricBypass-LOSERS Subject: Ideas... I wound up just making a cheeseball. Taking some crackers to. I'm just going to eat something before I go and will take several bottles of water w/ me. W 380/310/160 R.D.
