Guest guest
Kim-if U have any time-I found a pretty comprehensive list of symptoms for chiari involvement. I have been amazed at the overlap-I can hardly say which is charge, which is chiari. Pretty amazing. www.yvy69.ukgateway.net/1/symptoms.htm. Will be interesting to hear what a neurologist has to say. > > > Kim, _www.madsci.org/posts/archives/apr99/924734804.Me.r.html_ > > (http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/apr99/924734804.Me.r.html) > > vagal response. > > > > > >
Guest guest
That is very interesting . Mostly for my eldest, Tyler, not Dylan. The thing that would be diagnostic about these symptoms in most people is they wouldn't have the CAHRGE characteristics that explain them. This is why Meg tells Chip he doesn't have the other syndromes, but just has CHARGE. His symptoms are explained by CHARGE were as a person without CHARGE who has the same symptoms would have a different diagnosis. With Chiari it seems to be different, because there is an actual prolapse of the cerebellum. It is simply another thing for parents to tuck away, so if their child suddenly has a change were these symptoms show up, and had not been a problem before, that it could be checked for. The hard part for you is how to separate out how many of Di's symptoms are from CHARGE and which are due to worsening Chiari????? Oh so much to learn. Kim > www.yvy69.ukgateway.net/1/symptoms.htm.
