Guest guest Posted May 8, 2000 Report Share Posted May 8, 2000 Dear Members, I am new to your group-joined the day I came home from the dermatologist with metrogel and diagnosis. I am 50, very fairskinned which is now quite a shade of hot pink. It is bumpy and itchy and burning. Metrogel made it worse and then used Klaron which did same. I have read all the wonderful advice in the archives and have feel sure my answers lie there-exactly where and with what I am not sure. Questions:Could and increase from 20mg. to 40 mg. of vasotec be a trigger added to the very hot sun of Texas? Should I start to use Dr.Sy's soap, Vital Oil for moisturizer, and Zinco as Sunscreen since it has gotten rave reviews? Should I get Zia to wash with instead of the soap? I did learn from the reading and all your experiences to now ask the dermatologist for samples. Hope to hear from you. Let me just say I have looked at other groups for other problems and have never seen the same level of caring or respones nor " on the level " input of such doctors like Dr.Sy or Dr.Nase.
