Guys, I would drive hours just to hear and see Meg and . They're

great and well worth it.

Plus there is that networking thing that's vital to everyone too.

Go if you can!

Oh sad that Meg's not going to be there but how cool is it that you will be

presenting. People who are parents will get tons of hope and joy from you.

But you also keep it real. That's worth everything.

Our presentation will be sort of a CHARGE 101. It will be very informative

if you've never been to any other CHARGE event. The am will be Meg's

presentation of basic CHARGE information presented by a Rock person.

The pm will be my story of our journey with CHARGE to bring some reality to

the overview info.

I'm not sure if we will be presenting in a location closer to you sometime

soon. If you can get away overnight, you can stay with me. I am about 45

minutes west of ville.

You would not want to bring Eva. This is a time for you to soak it all in

without distractions. Of course, it'd be fun to show her off and introduce

her if the location was close enough to you that a friend or family member

could bring her by for a visit. Last time, in Lombard, a family that lived

there was able to bring their little guy in for us all to meet. And several

other parents were able to share their stories as well so the professionals

got the overview, my story, and many others. It was wonderful!

Remember to pass the training flyer along to all of Eva's professionals too.

They need professional development hours and may as well get them in

something that will benefit Eva!

I realize the distance is a burden so you may not make it. If you can, I

think you'll find it worthwhile. If not, watch for the next opportunity

closer to you.

In addition to all that Michele had to offer, it may be a great chance to

meet other parents who know what you are going through and what a great

chance to meet Michele and spend time with her, as well as hear her

presentation. Kim L

To clarify -- this will not be the " Meg and Michele " show. It's an IL DB

professional presenting CHARGE using Meg's Powerpoint presentation followed

by me doing my family story. It's Meg's info -- but not Meg. Not exactly

the same thing.

Bonnie-

Yes, it's an incredibly rewarding experience. I think it's helpful to both

the families and the professionals in attendance to hear a " real " story.

Our kids are so variable that there can't be any one CHARGE story, but

putting a face and emotions to the basic CHARGE 101 info is very powerful.

That would be awsome, where do you live? What town? If the driving

thing doesnt work at least having someone to sit with and talk to

will be great!!

I am new at all of this and my mind is just swimming with info.

Thanks,

And there will be another similar presentation in Champaign IL Feb 10

that will be Meg but not Michele - I'll be doing that one with Carla

Beck from IL. I'm hoping we can start doing some similar programs

(preferabley with Meg and Michele - we make a good team) in Missouri -

we'll see.
