Guest guest
I've just performed a DMSA challenge 24h urine analisis as written in Andy's book. I took 100 mg DMSA every 3 hours + 60 mg ALA every 3 hours. I found 0.8 HgU (range 0.1 - 7) 24h urine total = 1500 ml I'm very depressed because I am quit convinced that my 27 years story of amalgam (2 bigs, just 10 years ago toghether with symtomphs) drive to a amalgam illness. Anybody can helps me? Does it means that my body is not able to trasform and carry out Hg out of my body? Do I work on my metabolism? Do I have low glutatione? Thanks Dani
Guest guest
Challenge tests have absolutely no meaning. I put this in the book because sometimes insurance companies don't konw this and you might get lucky and get a high score and get coverage, but it really is not meaningful either way. Guest guest
Let me add to this, if you don't mind, Andy, that our son would never have shown mercury on the challenge test because stuff didn't start pulling out of him until two long rounds--a month--later! He's a young man and we have NEVER gotten high levels of mercury out of him, and don't expect to, but we keep pulling it out bit by bit. We have gotten high arsenic levels though, and the other metals have taken turns going up and down.
