Hi Jane-

I started to answer you before but then got busy....I can't really

add anything on the vaginal septum front because my septum did not go

that far. There are women here who have had their vaginal septums

corrected, though.

It took two resections to correct my uterine septum. The surgeries

were a breeze and I would not advise ANYONE with a septum to " wait

and see " if it causes a m/c. With a m/c rate at upwards of 80-90%,

why take the chance that you'll be one of the few lucky ones that

carry near/to term?

I am so glad that you are getting the info you need and correcting

the situation BEFORE you ttc...it will save you a lot of pain. I

didn't know about the septum when I went into labor at 23 weeks and

lost my son last year. I wouldn't want anyone else to feel the way I

have every day since then.

Good luck and I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
