Guest guest
Sorry Putter feels bad. Boone will allow his temperature to be taken on his forehead with one of those new forehead thermometers. We just tell him we need his number and we have to get it from his head and he's cool with it. We have not been successful with any other sort of thermometer, not even under the arm. Guest guest
There is a " thermometer by VICKS that you place under the arm. It is a sticker believe it or not and it is pretty accurate. I have good luck with it when I have used it with Trevayne and set and they have some " nice " sensory issues. Just a thought for the future. CHRIS PS hope that the illness makes a quick exit from your home Staying home instead... No Mass for us today, I guess. I picked Putter up from bed and carried him out to the living room to dress him for church. He felt hot. He sat up and gave a long nasty cough, sounded very productive. Yuck. I was not able to take his temperature and so I am not totally certain, but I rather think he is sick. I need a REALLY fast thermometer. I considered leaving him at home with Enrique but was flummoxed by the concern that, although he was coughing and did not show signs of having any stomach upset (as if he'd tell ME!), what if he threw up when Enrique was alone with him? Enrique would die. Putter would get no help from Enrique, so I think I just have to stay here and Robbie will miss religious ed and Sophie will miss Mass. And Lou wanted Sophie to spend the night with him last night so he could take her to his church (he is really bugging me about taking them to his church right now), and he will act snippy about it probably. Boo, hiss. Salli
Guest guest
> There is a " thermometer by VICKS that you place under the arm. It is a sticker believe it or not and it is pretty accurate. Well, I was trying to take his temperature under the arm, but he fought like a little tiger. I think he would object to a sticker too. Is it like a bandaid? He will wear bandaids on injuries (but he has only just consented to do that in the past few months). I certainly do not care about terribly accurate; at the moment all I have is my hand and I have to go around feeling all the foreheads and trying to decide based on that. I do think he is ill as he seems very quiet this morning. I have good luck with it when I have used it with Trevayne and set and they have some " nice " sensory issues. Guest guest
> How's Putter feeling now? > Ha, I never told, did I? Putter was FINE!!!!! Well, he obviously had a very bad cold, very bad cough for several days and a runny nose, but I do not think he needed to stay home from Mass. Just one of those tough calls you have with a child who does not tell you how he feels. Salli

Did Lou say anythign about it? Oh lovely. Take off diaper, hug mommy, & pee on her. Follow up by having diahrrea all over the floor. I gotta go. -Sara.
