I feel so badly that you are unable to eat NJ corn in the summer! I try to have it as often as possible, especially in August. Can you cut the kernels off, at least have some corn that way (I know, I know, it is NOT the same!)Hugs,Jo
Guest guest
Dannette,Jo, I wish I could have some sweet corn to. Ship it express mail. The stuff around here is bad cause of unusal cool weather and no sun. Tomato's are still green. They say no hope there. Nothing like a home grown tomato!!. May be next year with lots of butter and salt. Enjoy. Laurie
Guest guest
Danette, sorry to hear the job isn't more than just a job... I hope you can do 4 days.. I know that five is a lot! Yes, jersey tomatoes are to die for! We planted three plants this year, that have probably yielded 200 tomatoes! I have to start making sauces, stewed tomatoes, anything to use them, although the deer do like the ones that I toss! LOL Hugs Jo

Guest guest
Green ones are good too. Just dip them in an egg mixture and then dip them in flavored bread crumbs and then fry then in a pan in a little bit of oil.....Fried Green Tomatoes. I love them !
