Guest guest
, We were looking at starting the diet or changing drugs and our doctor said that " the diet and Topamax do not do well together, so we will steer clear of that one. " We did try it but then were quickly placed back on the depakote. I am surprised how many I've seen on the diet with Topamax. Is this not well known? Guest guest
Thanks for the great info. I printed the warning out for reference and I am asking our epi about it. Thanks for thinking to post this. > This is the new release on Topopax from the FDA. Guest guest
I just want to say " ditto " to 's comments here. We have seen and heard the same things. This drug warning reminded me to ask specifically about the serum bicarbonate testing. I don't know whether or not it has been included in Stockton's lab tests. It will be interesting to see what the epi's response is. > In the first ten minutes of speaking with Logan's first on call neuro > at AMC, he said that Topamax SHOULD NOT be used with the diet.
