Guest guest
Donna - LOL I am not a good patient. As they recently proposed doing another one of those precious litttle two-step surgical procedures (first half is coming up on the 27th), I gave them a resounding "No !...No more surgeries, no more hospitals. I have to go to work." They then said that they would do the trial on the day that I returned from New Orleans so that I could just have it be part of my vacation. "So how does that take part of the no-hospital rule?!?!" Pffffft. They then said, "Well. We'll do it right here then." Gotcha. I've agreed but then it didn't occur to me until afterwards that we didn't talk about the second half. Crapola. Guess they got me there since I have to have that part done at the hospital. Last year when my incision ruptured and I was faced with emergency surgery I tried fighting them on that one too. After explaining to them that I wasn't worried about the nasty scar that might result without surgical repair (like I'm really worried about being a model for 's Secret at this point in my life!), they still insisted on hospitalization. I refused. When they pushed, the only retort I could come up with was that the hospital's coffee sucked canal water. Their solution? My doc woke me up at 6AM with two Dunkin Donuts coffees in hand, one for him and one for me. Sometimes you just hafta love these guys! I hadn't realized that was an option!" LOL..u sound like me Barbara..that will be me when this is done...I HATE the thought of being tied down to anything!HugsDonna

BP and heart rate dropped during surgery from what the wife said also they told her they had trouble running the leads this time, not sure if thats from all the scar tissue from the other surgerys or what. Will ask the doctor this comming wed at check-up. Good news stim is working again not sure how effective yet due to the knock out stuff he gave me before surgery.I want to say thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes you all are a great bunch of peeps.Laters, Jeff
