Guest guest
Lynn, What happens if you just feed them the peas? You've all been on the diet long enough that it seems to me that eating the skins shouldn't be a problem. Guest guest
The best way is to invest in a sieve... It is a colander with a blade that you turn around manually, squeezing the pea puree and leaving the skins (of peas, beans, tomatoes, whatever!) on the sieve. You need to use cooked fruit or vegetable that will be very soft when you turn the blade. Coral
Guest guest
Do you have to shell peas? Is that considered skin?
Guest guest
Hi , > Do you have to shell peas? Is that considered skin? You can remove the skin on peas. I have done it by hand - pretty tedious or with a food mill Here is a picture of one http://www.internetkitchenstore.net/store/catalog/cuisiprofoodmill.jpg Also, if just starting you can try the petite peas, smaller than regular peas ( a little easier for some to digest). You don't have to shell snow peas or snap peas, but they are a little harder to digest so they aren't really for beginners. When trying them start slow.
