Lynn,

What happens if you just feed them the peas?

You've all been on the diet long enough that it seems to me that

eating the skins shouldn't be a problem.

The best way is to invest in a sieve... It is a colander with a

blade that you turn around manually, squeezing the pea puree and

leaving the skins (of peas, beans, tomatoes, whatever!) on the

sieve. You need to use cooked fruit or vegetable that will be very

soft when you turn the blade.

You can remove the skin on peas. I have done it by hand - pretty

tedious or with a food mill Here is a picture of one

Also, if just starting you can try the petite peas, smaller than

regular peas ( a little easier for some to digest).

You don't have to shell snow peas or snap peas, but they are a little

harder to digest so they aren't really for beginners. When trying

them start slow.
