OK, this morning I woke up on South Beach instead of Atkins. My

cupboards and fridge have been purged of the foods that don't make

the SB grade, and have been restocked with new things I haven't eaten

for the last two years.

I'm really wondering if I'll see the marked weight loss usually

associated with Phase 1, since many of the foods it removes from the

diet have been out of mine for so long. The one thing I'm reducing is

fat---I used to buy full fat everything, and yesterday's shopping

trip only included reduced and low-fat items.

Thanks for the mock French toast recipe. I'll have to try that next

weekend. I'll probably be sick of spinach and egg omlettes by then...
