Guest guest
- Congrats on joining the club! I felt the same way when my RE put me on Clomid/IUI. We didn't even try on our own but he wanted to " help us along " . The first round of 50mg with Clomid didn't work so now I'm on 100mg. Had the Day 12 u/s yesterday and have 3 huge follies - very good! No trigger shot for me because I ovulate on my own. When the LH surges, they will do the IUI the following day (could be tomorrow, Wed, or Thurs). What happened to me is that we were not able to try on our own with Clomid. It makes my cm hostile so we can't conceive on our own while on it. This happens pretty regularly so you probably are better just to do the IUIs. Good luck! Guest guest
Thanks Cyn, I go tomorrow am for the initial scan, and then if things progress as they should, would do the IUI sometime late next week, or even Labor Day weekend (guess I should warn DH that his beach plans might have to be flexible...) Good luck to you, I'll be thinking about you this week with fingers crossed. > - > Congrats on joining the club! > I felt the same way when my RE put me on Clomid/IUI. Guest guest
Hi Luara Welcome to the clomid club. FWIW (my opnion is somewhat biased), but I think the clomid/IUI combo is better. I had three clomid cycles without IUI. The first resulted in a chemical pg. But the following two cycles I had progressive thinning of the cm and lining. I wish you luck in your next cycle.
