Guest guest
How do you know if your child is low on neutrophils? I'm chelating w/ DMSA/ALA. Should I be concerned? Thanks, e
Guest guest
Hi e, I'm not Andy but I know that one gets a blood test called a Complete Blood Count (CBC) to determine if the neutrophils are low. I don't know how many kids have this problem, but it definitely needs to be monitored. I decided to have the CBC done after our 10 yr. old son had a very difficult time getting over a cold which his siblings got over within four days and we found out his neutrophils were lower than the reference range. It's one of those things that can happen when one is using DMSA. We just need to build up his neutrophils again and continue with other chelating agents such as ALA. Hope this helps and take care, Becky in Chesapeake, VA > How do you know if your child is low on neutrophils? I'm chelating w/ > DMSA/ALA. Guest guest
Hi, I am sorry I have a question. If you use DMPS can you get this as well by using it?
Guest guest
I don't know for sure but I think not. Hopefully someone else can list the side effects when using DMPS. --- In , " cab5532 " <cab5532@W...> wrote: > Hi, > I am sorry I have a question.
