2nd beta- breath of relief

Whew.... I finally got the call. It only took until 4:30pm! My beta

is now 941. It was 381 on Tuesday, so it has more than doubled. The

nurse said that it is most likely twins! She said all the other

levels looked great, including my progesterone level.

I am so relieved, as that spotting last night really, really worried

me. I have kept my feet up all day, and am drinking tons of water.

This is going to be a long and worrisome pregnancy, I can tell

already. I just want everything to go smoothly.

Next Thursday I need to go back for my first ultrasound, to see the

sacs and make sure that they are in the right place. Then the week

after that she said that I may be able to see the hearbeats, but it

could still be early for that.
