Guest guest
Sadly Dawn its all according to what state you live in. In Massachusetts they have that right as much as it sucks. But I will be looking into the way that they did it and whether they did it legally, such as not notifying me prior to their determination etc. I'll let all of you know as the process goes on. Guest guest
Just one more reason to love living in Massachusetts! It stinks but now I've got to fight for what I need. At least knowing that they wont cut my benefits helps but NOT having health insurance sucks because I simply CANNOT afford their COBRA insurance. I dont even make that much in a month let alone be able to pay for it! Dawn Dood luck at the neurologist tomorrow and let us know how you make out! Guest guest
dawn Good luck but I personally know of several it has happened to and I have been online in several RSD groups for about 8 years now and rsd for going on 15 years and it has and does happen. A very good friend of mine who worked for Hatteras Yacht had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance for almost immediate surgery for the injury she suffered at work she had been with the company over 20 years After 5 surgeries she was fired!!! she and her attorney fought and fought but did not win not RSD involved.at first but did come later. Then there have been lost of people online over the years this has happened to. as I said my rsd came from a stupid dr and athrospic surgery sure cant get anything out of them . If any of you need any free meds gp to RX Hope to the patient assistance If u qualify income wise u can get most all of your meds free. I only have to buy my ambien now since they dont do the program but under the new medicare program I qualified for the 600.00 so I am using it for my ambien for the rest of this year. I have always got my duragesic free through my Dr. That is a wonderful place toget free meds if your income qualifies .
Guest guest
Although it is illegal for an employer to fire you due to w/c injuries, they still find a way. My arm was injured at work and I was terminated for not being able to use my arm. I am still on w/c though Message: 13 Date: 9/20/2004 12:41:09 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: margie545@...
