Silly Question! :-)

Well, I bought those water proof bandaids, and they kept the water out when

swimming. I also took it easy and didn't jump around until I was 2 weeks out.

LOL. I also took my own staples out after 1 week because they were causing an

allergic reaction.

Not a silly question... I am still waiting, but its not because I can't

hahahaha.

You have to decide when your body can handle it. It shouldn't be long after

surgery, just take it easy.

I had the Lap procedure and it was like 8 or 9 days before we had intercourse.

But, you know, there are other ways/body parts to satisfy those urges. There is

always something about being told not to have sex that has always made my

husband and I more hot for one another. Sorry, if TMI. Enjoy!

Silly Question! :-)

How long did you all wait to start having sex again?

Just wondering? :-)

Thanks!

RE: Sex.... LOL my man is going nuts! Tonight when I

asked what he wanted for dinner (I was ordering out

for him and the kids),, he said " ummmmmm...you!? "

I had my surgery on Aug 31 and it was just this

morning I could get myself out of bed. We have fooled

around, but I haven't been in the mood too much yet.

I hope it doesn't go too long.

The surgeon told me 36-38 months no pregnancies and my

PCP said he didn't think a pregnancy would be

supportable. I put off the surgery for a while because

I needed to come to terms with the idea of no more

kiddos. I only have one. Now I feel ready to deal with

it. But your dr gave you a much shorter waiting

period.

Why did your pcp think that? I know people have had kids after

surgery? WOW!! I was told no pregnancies for at least 1 year. But, I

don't plan on anymore anyway so it wasn't an issue.

My doctor said the same thing wait one year to eighteen months before

trying to get pregnant. Because we are being malnourished to lose

weight it is not a good time to get pregnant. After you have lost the

weight you can get pregnant but you have to really watch your food

intake; stay up on protein and avoid everything that puts weight on.
