Hi everyone,

I just heard back from my GYN and my culture indicated that I have candida albicans (?spell). Anyway, I was glad that it was not a non-albicans type of yeast. I do feel much better being on the Diflucan. I am going to be sure to get a culture right away when I start having symptoms again. My problem is that my V area is always red, stinging and itchy. The way I can tell if I have a yeast inf. is the discharge and sometimes I can feel burning in my vagina, but not always, and also I sometimes gets swelling in my V area. Also, my V symptoms get much worse. Hopefully, the Diflucan will keep my recurrent inf. under control. I just hope they do not come back when I am done the course of Diflucan!
