Guest guest
I'd donate mine for quilt making if you donated the quilts to homeless people or hurricane victims or something like that. I don't have the time to learn or do quilting, but sounds like a good idea for those who enjoy doing it. in Virginia A Quilt out of all my Fat clothes! I love love love alot of my clothes. But soon not one thing will fit. I Crazy Quilt and got the idea that I could make a (huge) quilt out of my favorite items. Do you think it is somthing you would do or have done to you old stuff? Maybe I should offer to make quilt tops out of peoples fat clothes. Please let me know what you think.
Guest guest
I think that's a really neat idea. It's something you'd always have as a reminder to yourself of where you came from & how hard you've worked. W 380/309/160 wrote: > I love love love alot of my clothes. Guest guest
Debi, I would love to do this! How would I go about it? in Virginia 299/226/150 Lap RNY: 5/3/06 Re: A Quilt out of all my Fat clothes! Another suggestion for our " bigger " clothes, if you aren't concerned with selling, lots of people in the Louisana area lost all of their belongings and from what I hear from a friend who just returned from working there, alot of people are incredibly poor with no resources and in need of larger sized clothing. Just a thought,,,, --- Woodard wrote: > I think that's a really neat idea. Guest guest
SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i love all kinds of craft things, but like a lot of people i don't have the time. i would so consider paying someone to do that or even give it as a gift for someone whos had the surgery done. wonderful idea, even for just a personal thing. it's great for still keeping the things you love(the clothes) while moving on. also congrats on your future and happy lossing! Guest guest
What about sweatshirts that are too big now, cutting the arms off and making them into pillows? Guest guest
I would DEFINITLEY pay you to make a quilt out of my clothing when I reach I reach my goal. You could make some good money by doing that! I'm seeing a great part-time income for you!!! " Ms. Sassy Monkey " wrote: What a WONDERFUL idea!!!! Guest guest
That's a great idea! I figure I'm going to make a lot of rags for cleaning the car and the house. My t-shirts are so well worn that they'll be perfect for washing my car. Luckily, I don't really have ANY good clothes that I'll miss. Just tees and henleys. Easily replaceable with nice girlie tops when I'm to that point. > > > > > I love love love alot of my clothes. But soon not > > > one thing will fit. Guest guest
Now I just had an even better thought. I'll sew a few together and make a bed for my doggie. Dogs typically like to lay on our clothes because of the scent anyway. > > > > > I love love love alot of my clothes. But soon not > > > one thing will fit.
