Prayers please

> I know a lot of people on this list are pray-ers, so thought I would ask

you all for some help. My dad is 80 years old, diabetic, bilateral amputee,

with peripheral vascular disease and Parkinson's. He recently went into the

hospital because he thought he kept falling to sleep in his wheelchair,

turned out his heart rate was going down into the 30s, so a pacemaker was

put in. We were told he was fine and that no one needed to hurry home, as a

matter of fact he was in Rehab, perking up and doing great. Then in the

middle of the night last night, he just stopped breathing. He was put on a

respirator and sent to the acute hospital. He has been found to have

bacterial pneumonia (par for the course for him after surgery) and they now

say he had a slight heart attack. Everyone says this is just a little blip

and he will be up and fine soon, but I am having a hard time believing that.

Plus the fact that I am in NC and he is in Indiana. Please everyone send up

prayers for him and for me to know what to do. I have so many commitments

here, son and grandsons' birthdays, etc., but I really want to be home to be

a help to mom and to see how he is doing. Thanks, Margaret

Margaret,

Warm hugs for you and heartfelt prayers for you and all your family. Will

keep your friend in my prayers, too.

All the best Tim as you venture into this process. I know you are

apprehensive about being transplanted, but keep in mind all of the success

stories and how good it will feel to have the strength to keep up with the

kids again. Many prayers are being sent your way from the Heartland of

America.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

1Jo 5:14-15 (NASB)

was writing to Christian believers but, more importantly, before that He said...

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. Need Him?

1Jo 5:11-12 (NASB)

Hi Tim,

I'm lifting you up in my prayers to the Lord this morning. I pray and hope that if it is His will, that you will be healed and that He will be glorified.

God Bless,

- Bruce

Hi

I am going in to hospital tomorrow for my

transplant assessment for a

week, so would value any prayers. I would far

rather get healed than

have a transplant. Now that would be interesting!

Have a good week.
