Guest guest
" Received the Kirkman's Acidophilus today. It has 3 billion cells per one capsule. They recommend one a day. Is that correct. What does Elaine recommend? " Kathy, Kirkman made these especially at my request. 3 Billion per day is Elaine's recommendation. Guest guest
> I started my child on this acidophilus about 2-3 weeks ago. In the beginning, no problems but the last week she is hyperactive, crying a lot, not wanting to stay in the bed to sleep at night, crawling on the floor and really not being herself. Could this be from the acidophilus? Anyone else having problems with this? There is nothing else new regarding supplements or medications............... > Thanks, > Kathy > mom to Abby and Hannah > >Kathy, My son had similar problems with Kirkman's acidophilus. I posted a message about it earlier this month. I had to discontinue and all the problems stopped. I still don't know what the problem is. Guest guest
We started the Kirkman’s acidophilus just over a week ago, too. My ASD child had one minor episode of D (certainly from die-off). My other two NT children who were not as religious on the diet initially has a little more D, and I, who admit to cheating (out of sight of the children!!) often until a couple of weeks ago, have had a lot of D. Point is, in my family, the more religious one has stuck to the diet, the less D they’ve had with the acidophilus!! Also, we had the same story with a cold. My ASD, religious on the diet, didn’t get it. My two girls got it but it didn’t last long. I, the cheater, suffered the most. The cold was the straw that broke my back. After seeing how my children responded, I decided to stick with the diet, no more cheating. :-) Alice Mama to , ASD, SCD 7 ½ weeks _____
