Guest guest
Sorry, no help here, my dd would never take any bottle, she wouldn't even try the nipple out. As soon as you put the rubber nipple in her mouth she would open wide and scream her head off lol Finally I realized it just wasn't going to happen but I was ok with that because she didn't need to take a bottle cause I was with her all the time. I wish you luck, I think if he's taking it for MIL then it is working. Michele Hi everyone... We are trying to get baby Luke used to bottles. He just doesn't seem to like them, smart guy.... Anyway, with my daughter we tried all sorts of nipples, etc. and finally wound up with the Healthflow ones that came with the bottles in the first place. I just decided that it didn't matter on the nipple, she hated them all and that I better stop changing and just get her used to one. Does anyone have any suggestions on nipples...Healthflow, Nuk, other? Also, any tips on bottlefeeding? My mother in law has been feeding him,...only a few times, though. TIA... Guest guest
Spencer only needed to take a bottle about 3 times, but I used the Nuk nipples when he did. He never had any problems with it. Guest guest
We use the regular Avent bottles. Will actually doensn't care what bottle/nipple, but I have found that the Avent makes it easier on MY nipples when we nurse. > > > Hi everyone... > > We are trying to get baby Luke used to bottles. Guest guest
, The playtex bottles do leak until you can get them into the tri-cut self-regulating nipple. The same theory that keeps them from having air in them makes them leak if they are tipped at all. As for nipples for bottlefeeding. Avent is the most recommended because they have to work for the milk similiar to breastfeeding. Wendi http://www.lactivist.com breastfeeding info & resources Re: bottles/nipples From: NFLI4U@... Guest guest
How old is Luke? When was 6 mos old we went to a cup (sippy cup) and he loved it and still does. My sister had the same problem as you (she had to go back to work at 6 mos) and also found that a sippy cup was the only thing she would take (no bottles!!!) Good Luck!
