Hi ,

Thanks for the interesting post. I really enjoyed it. I always enjoy what

you write so I think people will like whatever you write about in your book.

Your'e funny with the rice krispies and cheerios. I like honey nut cheerios.

They stay crunchy longer than regular cheerios. I'm thinking about having that

in a few minutes with a banana.

I love it that your having a traditional snack and then later will have tacos.

The two worlds do collide don't they.

I hope you don't have to walk the dogs and that your mom and friend stay gone

a good long time.

Take care of yourself,

Marti

Hi

I am commenting several posts in this one.

Rice crispy neck... That was a funny name! I have it.

I wonder what is causing that weird sound. I haven't

eaten rice crispies for ages but I will buy some on

Jan 2nd when the shops open again. I want to hear the

crispies " talk " to each other and I think they are

nicer to eat than corn flakes who get soft and yucky

after a while.

Crocs... They seem to be comfortable. My niece and

nephews got them for christmas and I have heard a lot

about them. I think I will buy a pair to have at work.

But I don't really like the colors. I hope I find some

black ones.

Thanks to all who cheered me up when I was depressed

and thought I was a little fat ugly pig... I know I am

not. But I do have some " sausages " around my waist and

my pants are kind of tight. I suppose it's partly the

fibro and partly the DNA. Mum is not exactly slim and

I have noticed my brother is getting a big stomach

too, but he cooks food in a restaurant almost every

day, so I suppose he taste a lot of the food he is

doing and at home I know he use a lot of cream and

butter in the food.

I wrote that I borrowed a DVD with some exercises.

I've gone through the 30 minute programme once, a few

days ago. Oh my God! I didn't think I was in such a

lousy shape. It seemed so easy on TV, but doing it was

pretty hard. A few times I gave up and watched the

woman on TV do the moves because I didn't have strong

enough muscles to repeat those things 20 times or

something. And the following day I had sore muscles in

my back and around my waist, the areas that the DVD

was meant for. I am still a bit sore, but I'll do the

programme two times a week, may be, and see if it has

any effect on my sausages and big thighs.

Some of you have been writing about feeling cold one

minute and hot the next minute. Mostly I am feeling

cold, but sometimes I get the hot moments, especially

at night and then I wake up with my pyjama, pillow

etc. wet from the sweat.

When I was depressed I wrote that I want to write a

book but don't think anyone want to read it after

seeing my ugly face in the newspaper. Well, some of

you said I should write a book and I am going to. If

nobody wants to publish it, it is another story, but I

want to write.

It's New Year's Eve today. Finally we have a little

snow on the ground. Things never go as planned. Why

can I never remember that? You might remember that I

wrote earlier that I want to be alone on New Year.

Well, I am not alone today. My sister's family are

going to celebrate the new year with another family

this year, so mum and her darling can't go there.

Instead, they will be home all evening. At midnight

they might go down to the beach and look at the fire

works, so then I'll be alone for an hour may be. At

the moment they are out somewhere, I don't know where

or how long they will be gone, because they were not

at home when I came from the shop.

In an hour or two, my brother will come with his dogs

and the dogs are going to spend the night in our

house, while my brother is celebrating new year with

his girl friend and some other friends. The dogs are

miniature schnauzers, one is 3 years and the other is

6 months old. The smaller is wild (I hope he calms

down when he gets older) and he constantly chase after

my cat who then gets angry and hides under my bed. So

I have to keep them apart from each other, which is

not always so easy. It was the same with my cat and

the dog that is now 3 years, but they got used to each

other and can now be in the same room, even if the cat

still makes some angry noices if the dog comes too

close. So the dogs must of course be taken outside for

walks every now and then. I hope mum and her darling

go out with the dogs. I can pretend that I am

sleeping, so I don't have to go out with them late

tonight.

Now I am hungry. I am going to eat some boiled sausage

and potato sallad. For some odd reason, lots of Finns

are eating boiled sausage and potato sallad on New

Year's Eve. I don't see the point in doing that but

it's good, so I'll do the same. Later tonight we are

going to eat tacos.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
