Amy With that baby I was induced with pit at 2 pm, didn't feel any contractions although the nurses said I was having them. I spent the afternoon walking around the floor trying to make things go. My OB came in after her office hours around 4:30 and checked me and I was a good 7 cm after all that lol She broke my water around 5 and Keely was born at 7:26 pm after 25 minutes of pushing :-) So yes, it was short and sweet, I was even able to handle the pain fairly well, I just used some gas during transition until I started to push. To this day she says she always remembers me as the one that was stuck at 7 cm, that's the first thing she said at my first appointment with this pregnancy lol Michele, still waiting :-)
Guest guest
Hi everyone! I am coming out of lurk mode (bet ya'll thought I wasnt here). Anyway, to the post about back pain...I agree with Dawn on this...If you carry your weight in the front..that will cause it. I was one of those! A few months post op...my hiney hurt when I sat on hard chairs cause I could feel my bones (what a nice feeling though). I am almost at the 2 year mark and my back killed! I had the tummy tuck at the (almost one year mark; I lost most of my weight in that first year), then, just recently I had the breast reduction and lift (covered by my insurance). AND NO MORE BACK PAIN. Anyone needing a wonderful plastic surgeon in the NH area...let me know...one of his friends also had WLS recently....he loves WLS patients. Guest guest
Carla, I would love the name of your plasitc surgeon. Since I live in NH and I already know that most likely my tuck and lift will be covered since I am having back pain I will need to find someone. I know DHMC will want me to go with who they have but I would like to choose the best surgeon possible. Lea moderator
Guest guest
Dear Joni, My primary care in Nashua is Dr. Don McDonah. He has been very supportive of my surgery. Actually he is just a wonderful person all around!! His office number is . If he is not taking new patients his associate Krista is great as well. They are both so pleased with the results of my surgery that every time I am in the office they parade me around to show everyone!!
