Guest guest
> Donna, > You're darn right--it is good to get news after feeling like everything is going down the drain!! I am so happy that these things are working out for you, and before you know it, you'll even be getting news about approval of an SCS! Im fairly confident that it will be approved IF the right neurologist sees me which one of those drs happen to be referred by my pain management specialist. Im having a good day so far except for some low level pain. Many Hugs Donna
Guest guest
Donna, So glad to hear you're getting some good news for a change! Sounds like your case worker did some miracle work, too! You must be sighing a big sigh of relief right now, and I'm glad you can do that. Get some rest, now. I'm sure this stress hasn't done much for your pain levels. Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Donna, It is late and I unfortunately had a very bad night, but just getting to posts because I cannot sleep and extremely stressed!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy to see that you finally got some good news. I will continue to say prayers for you and your family and I know that everything will work out for you! Talk to you tomorrow and know that you have Angels looking over you! LOL and Best Wishes Always DawnDonna wrote: As you all have read from my posts lately, its been a rather rough week for me....pain flare ups, losing insurance, losing my employment, declines on the SCS and general screwing around with everyone related to this whole nightmare! After all this had gone on, but Monday night I was too tired to care about who made what decisions on my behalf and too tired to fight anymore myself. I took yesterday off to gather my wits together and decide my next course of action which at noon today was going to be calling an attorney if I didnt get some answers. I put this off as I adore my case manager/advocate and wanted to continue having her work with me.About 11 am this morning I got a call from her with some good and rather surprising news. She told me not to ask how she did it, not to ask who she spoke with or what tactics she used but she managed to get them to reinstate my job and that a letter should be coming in the mail retracting the termination LOL!She also managed to get MY pain Dr to reccomend one of his colleagues to do the second opinion for the neurology consult (as well as one she likes alot) but she said not to expect to hear much on that for a few weeks. We also managed to speak to our mortgage guy who is going to let us refinance our mortgage at a lower rate and take out a loan above what we owe to pay off our car and our daughters orthodontic work and still have about 1700 in the bank to pay off our insurance bill so we can continue with our insurance. I just need to have a letter I faxed to UR signed stating that I am on w/c disability getting paid X amount and that there is no return date as of yet.I'm hoping this streak of good fortune stays for awhile, Im sort of liking it but know enough not to get too used to it as something inevitably transpires LOL.Anyway, I wanted to say thanks to all of you! Guest guest
> glad to hear that yo had good news. hope you are feeling better. Mentally I am feeling better, physically my body seems to be informing me that its been under enough stress and everything is on fire this morning. I have pillows stacked behind me so my shoulders dont touch the couch but my arm still rubs and so my messages have been done in parts this morning so that the rubbing doesnt drive me too insane lol. I've have alot to do so this just needs to stop now (like its going to listen to me heheheh). Anyway, take care , talk to you soon! I'll celebrate fully when they finally approve my SCS..until then not much has changed except that I won the first battle and my finances are improving or at least stabilizing. As far as a flareup...I'm experiencing changes but I dont know if I'd consider them flareups. I notice various affected areas becoming numb like a nerve is being pinched which is a different sensation and as well it started in my opposite shoulder blade yesterday. Not painful just different and I'm not sure how to take the change. Anyway, thank you for the well wishes. Im happy for the moment not to have to deal with unemployment on top of it all and that we may actually be able to celebrate the holidays and not cut corners to do it. Because I haven't seen a teenager yet that didn't get the disease called Senioritis the cure is graduation. JoAnn wouldn't need to keep until she was 40 just until about 21 or 22, they become very wonderful people again, at least that is how my 2 turned out.
