My friend's ob/gyn first told her about it as a "cure-all", when she went to her about a sudden onset of acne. But then as my friend started to do some research, she found that it really did work in some amazing ways. She called her ob/gyn and told her briefly about my problem - which is chronic inflammation. The doctor said to absolutely use it - particularly because I saw a connection with my allergies. She said that a patient of hers had sinusitis for years and no one could help her. Three weeks of oil of oregano and she's symptom free. If you do a little googling, you'll see it's used for fungus and bacterial infections, as well as allergies and inflammation. The doctor did say and this is important ladies, not to use the oil vaginally, as it burns first and it's not worth the pain or the possible reaction. They sell it in pill form and that's what she suggested I take. I took the first one today and all I can tell you, is within 30 minutes, my sinuses totally drained. I suppose it could be a coincidence, but that doesn't happen with my allergy medication! I'm hoping that if it works that quickly on my nasal passages, that I'll see a similar effect vaginally. I asked the health food store guy how much I should take and he said just take one a day for 3 days! I looked at him like he'd lost his mind and said, "but I've had this problem for 10 years - without going into any intimate detail". He said, "then give it 30 days.....but I'm telling you it works".
