You know, that may be true. We don't want to bash anyone and leave a name here

I guess. I will just share that I have a wonderful doctor. I am one of the

lucky ones. I don't know what I would do without him. He does not have time to

spend alot of time with me, but he understands that what I have is real and he

treats it the best he can without insurance. I will just go ahead and say.... I

am blessed. I guess I will use that word here because I believe it myself.

I will add that strangely enough, he has been my doctor for years and knows

all my dirty laundry. I thought he would be the last one to understand

this.....so I tried to find the answers from others at first. Much to my

surprise..... he was the ONE who is there for me. He was right there at my

fingertips the whole time I went through torturing pain for 4 weeks or more

before diagnosis. When I finally turned to him...... it was what I should have

done in the first place.

I have alot of psych history so I though he would just think I am an idiot. I

was so wrong.

love and hugs,

Debra V.

Debra, I am the same. I have been VERY VERY lucky that the first person

I saw was wonderful concerning pain medication etc. And she is not even

a doctor, just a licensed nurse practioner. But for the past 7 years

she has been the best about helping me at least try to keep the pain

under control. She is always attending conferences and trying to give

me new ways to help with the pain, lists of support groups etc.

There are a few good ones out there who really understand!
