The stages are really just a guide. You don't *have* to follow them.

Some kids cannot tolerate things like zuccini or squash so they jump

ahead to broccoli or cauliflower even though they are harder to

digest. It's a personal choice that depends on each child. If you

feel that your son is doing fine now and want to widen his choices I'd

pick something you know he will enjoy and try it out. Go slow so

reactions will be easier to see. Sam did fine with coconut and tahini

much sooner than is recommended, but not all kids would.

This could be die-off. Sam often has little red dots around his mouth

that I associate with die-off. His eyes looke horrible right now

because of ragweed season, but some kids also get dark eye circles

with die-off or if they are phenol/salicylate sensitive.

Are you staying CF? You could start thinking about trying the nut

yogurt. It's really good in smoothies. The probiotics in the yogurt

really help Sam out alot.

Sounds like things are going well! Congrats!

The red rash only last for a few hours as does the reddish watery

eyes.

we are staying GFCF as his values of casein and gluten morphine as

well as peptides are off the charts. Where do I start with Nut

yougurth? I have heard so much positive about it. ( I should probably

search the Pecanbread database thouroughly for recepies and " how to " )

Hi Kathrine,

> When can we start to reintroduce other types of foods?

If you are seeing improvement overall then you can start introducing

new foods. It is pretty normal for the bowels to go back to loose

every now and then. But if things are better overall then he is

doing great. If he has loose stools for days in a row or other

symptoms along with the loose stool that is more a cause for concern.

No. Just as long as he is improving overall.
