Guest guest
BJ I hope your kids get better soon. I know the feeling of one step forward and two steps back. Lori -- surrender here Hi all -- Last week I had Jacy in at the doctor's for complaints of " bay-yake " (which in Jacyspeak means bellyache). She's been complaining for several days that her belly hurt, but has no other symptoms (no diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, etc.). The doctor sent us home with nothing, saying that there is an outbreak of the Norwalk virus on the East Coast, and it will affect some children more than others. OK so it is now affecting her brother , sigh. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, the works. We just spent the past few days finalizing his poop-in-the-potty training (by telling him that all boys 5 years old have to poop in the potty from now on) He has been using that potty for pooping since last Friday . . . but I had to put a diaper on him today in case of " accidents. " Gosh I hope we don't have to start from scratch with this pottying stuff after he gets better, ugh. One step forward, two steps back, as usual. -BJ in polis, MD
