Guest guest
Cecilia, You have just described exactly the way I feel allot of the time. I just have not been able to describe it in words. I too am very grateful that is now saying words and seems to be picking them up at a rate I cannot understand. (Even though I don't believe he has any clue with some of them, but, any words are good words!) He also seems to have some Echolalia. I just can't get it out of my head. I just want to know where we are heading and what we will be dealing with. I feel very guilty sometimes to say I am really concerned for him when I see others are dealing with so much more. I think that when you are pregnant with your first child you realise you obviously will be emotionally attached and love your child. But it is not until that child arrives and you continue to bond with it that you fully understand the lengths that these emotions take. I think we all can understand what your feeling right now.
