Guest guest
I bought some Coconut Oil several months ago. It has been opened and I have used a small amount of it. It has been sitting on my counter ever since. Is it still good? I heard it has a long shelf life. I don't want to use it if it isn't any good, but I don't want to just throw it out if it is. Anyone know how long it stays good not refrigerated? Debbie, mom of Carson, 30 months ASD, SCD 2 months
Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Yes, it's probably still fine. It doesn't go rancid like other oils. I'd probably feel comfortable keeping it on the shelf in my pantry for a year. It might be fine even longer than that. I'm sure you could e-mail the company and ask them what they recommend. Guest guest
I never refridgerate my coconut oil. It gets HARD as a rock and it's been fine for a couple of months. So I am sure yours is just fine to use. Carol in IL
