Guest guest Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 You are SO right!! Imagine never smelling a rose. Or, the smell of a clean baby! Or the scent of an ocean breeze! We have much to be grateful for. Yes, I would much rather have an over-sensitive sense of smell than not be able to appreciate the thousands of wonderful aromas we are lucky enough to have been blessed with. Oh, my gosh. She can't even appreciate food. We actually 'taste' more with our noses than tongues. That would be so sad. How does she manage? Imagine never experiencing the aroma of freshly baked bread. Or bacon frying, or coffee brewing!! I feel incredibly sad for her. Since aromatherapy is one of the most effective treatments I use, I would be lost.
