Guest guest
> There are many different pain meds out there than can help you with break > through pain. Of course with all these meds, the dosages can be tailored > for your specific needs. I would suggest that you inform your doctor that > you are experiencing more pain at times and that the Tylenol isn't helping. I'm going to ask when the nurse calls, when he is doing the injections he doesnt have much time for chit chat..and he was 1 1/2 hrs behind yesterday as it was. > I am not much of one to like taking meds, don't care for all the side > effects, but in the long run, the side effects are mild compared to the pain > that I would have to endure if not on the meds. the neurontin alone makes me groggy, I hate the thought of taking something else, but the pain doesnt help me to feel like myself either and I find myself vey nasty and irritable towards those in my house that arent really doing anything to deserve being growled at. Im getting so I dont even like me, how can I expect them to .....just a couple more days....optimistic > aren't I! If we arent who will be? Guest guest
, Pot luck went well I made over 100 meatballs, ham sandwiches etc. Sorta pigged out. Had terrible craving for smokes last night. Finally put a 1/2 patch on and went to bed. Seemed to help. Man i was nuts for a smoke. Figured the patches I had on weren't stay on very well so not all of the nicotine was getting into me. Just took them off and add another in different place. WHALA Been pretty calm today. Hope you had a good holiday. Laurie
Guest guest
Laurie I agree with Tonia, they were very helpful when I was using them, they really helped with the pain in my knee. I had to stop because I developed a allergic reaction to the adhesive which is what happened to me on the Duragesic patches too. Lin -- Laurie Laurie, I feel the cold for like the first hour or so also....but, after that it thankfully goes away or I just get used to it a bit. My legs are red and purple right now after I put the patches on, but, what the heck. If it helps with the pain, I can handle the color changes! tonia -------Original Message------- Tonia, Lidocaine patches never worked for me. Just made the coldnest feel worse.
