Guest guest
You know , your " texasbluebonnetgirl " e-mail address gives you away! ;-) I'm in Texas too, Austin, TX. I have a 3 1/2 year old son named Jake, diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum in October. Welcome!!! ~ Karin (who used the handle " Bluebonnet " back when my family had CB radios.... did I just date myself?) heltjr wrote: > Howdy! > > I have been lurking for a few days and decided it was a good time to > introduce myself. > My name is , I am mommy to 2 girls (ages 19 months and 3 > years). Guest guest
Hi! Glad you found us. We were moving cross country one time and it took us three days to cross Texas. The rest of the country took only three days, LOL!
Guest guest
Welcome ! Glad to hear you like what you've read. I think we'd all be nuts by now if we didn't have a sense of humor. Actually, I keep trying to convince my husband to look for the humor in situations instead of getting angry (which of course doesn't mean I never get angry....) Glad to hear our chattiness hasn't scared you away! Your comment below is the exact reason Jacquie created the site! Guest guest
> I am in the process > of getting my BA degree in either Teaching or Speech Pathology, when time and money permitts. > Go for speech pathology. It pays MUCH better than teaching and if you're able to work privately, you can set your own schedule and still spend a lot of time at home. My sitter has her masters in speech pathology. She just graduated a year ago. She really only babysits because she's been doing it since she started college and has become quite attached to my kids. I certainly can't pay her what she makes at her real job! Tina

Guest guest
Hiya , Welcome to the list. I'm Sissi mom to: Boone, age 5, classically autistic, obsessed with time and clocks, computers and loves to draw. Dillon, age 11, musically gifted, renal disease, and a complete brat who is somewhat eccentric, intellectually gifted but failing at school, and has undiagnosed (so far) behavioral problems which are driving me batty. Amber, age 18, severe progressive scoliosis corrected (75%) by surgery, beautiful, wonderful and the best helper a mom could hope for ever. And husband to Matt, who I'm mad at right now ...
