You know , your " texasbluebonnetgirl " e-mail address gives you

away! ;-)

I'm in Texas too, Austin, TX. I have a 3 1/2 year old son named Jake,

diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum in October.

Welcome!!!

Welcome !

Glad to hear you like what you've read. I think we'd all be nuts by now if

we didn't have a sense of humor. Actually, I keep trying to convince my

husband to look for the humor in situations instead of getting angry (which

of course doesn't mean I never get angry....)

Glad to hear our chattiness hasn't scared you away!

Go for speech pathology. It pays MUCH better than teaching and if

you're able to work privately, you can set your own schedule and

still spend a lot of time at home.

My sitter has her masters in speech pathology. She just graduated a

year ago. She really only babysits because she's been doing it since

she started college and has become quite attached to my kids. I

certainly can't pay her what she makes at her real job!

Hiya ,

Welcome to the list. I'm Sissi mom to:

Boone, age 5, classically autistic, obsessed with time and clocks, computers

and loves to draw.

Dillon, age 11, musically gifted, renal disease, and a complete brat who is

somewhat eccentric, intellectually gifted but failing at school, and has

undiagnosed (so far) behavioral problems which are driving me batty.

Amber, age 18, severe progressive scoliosis corrected (75%) by surgery,

beautiful, wonderful and the best helper a mom could hope for ever.

And husband to Matt, who I'm mad at right now ...

Sissi
