Ken was

taking Prozac for a while – until we made him get off it. His mood swings were terrible and it

seemed he was angry way too much of the time. His doctor tried Celexa next and we thought

he was doing better on it, but he started to have diarrhea all the time. We thought that was ok, as his ammonia

level was staying down, but soon that became a problem, so he stopped the Celexa

too. He had a terrible time coming

off it – ringing in his ears, headaches and was unable to sleep. All the side effects have stopped now

and Ken thinks

he is better off taking nothing. At

this point we all agree.

taking Celexa for about 5 years.
