Hi a,

This is not an easy decision. You are altering not only your body but your

life. We all here have believed at some point or another that we were the one it

wouldn't work for or wouldn't make it through. We have been dissapointed for so

long, we can't help but feel that way. It is something you have to weigh out and

decide if it's for you. As for the excess skin, everyone is different. I believe

there are more of us that have excess then those that do not. We are losing the

weight faster then the skin can catch up. It depends on your age and how much

you have lost, etc... on how well it will bounce back. I would rather be healthy

and running around in life with excess skin then to be a prisoner of my body and

home and dragging my family down with me. This is where I made my choice. You

have to decide for you.

Hey a,

Just wanted to welcome you to the group. I havent been a member long,I

was just diagnosed last August.Since day one everyone has been

understanding and very compassionate. I hope you find what you need

here,I know I have.
