how did you get it covered???? is that possible??

I just had an abdominoplasty ( tummy tuck ) 2 weeks ago. It was covered by

insurance. BTW, I am a RN and work in surgery... I have never heard of ANY

Pro Bono for the plastics associated with weight loss.

My insurance is going to cover mine as well. You have to talk to your surgeon

about it.

Yes... 2 things. You will be icing a lot. i found those flexible blue cold

packs you can buy at

CVS very useful. Have a couple around. Also, pain meds can be constipating and

constipation is potentially bad because you can break stitches straining. You

may want to

bring this up with the doc and have both a stool softener and a laxative on

hand. Good Luck!
