Dear ,It is never too late for a miracle and I am still praying for one.Personally this just strengthens my resolve to work harder for the foundation. I know that I have to give it my all so that we can find a better treatment for PSC than a liver transplant. I am so glad that you are there and that you are being well taken care of.God bless you for your caring and generous spirit.Peace to and her family.Lee Thank you, Joanne, Omaha Tim, Lee, , Kate for the kindness you've shown during this heartbreaking time for , her family and I!  All of you have a special place in our lives.  I will pass on all of your thoughts and prayers while I am here.  Deb in VA, a very special thanks to you for allowing me to cry and rant when I learned of M2's condition, but more for understanding the emotions and thoughts that go along with it!  I adore you!

I'm with ,

I was very sad to hear this news and I have been praying all day. After

it sunk in then I got mad - mad and this #@*! disease and what it is

doing to us.

Even though I am in knee rehab - I had to go for a fast bike ride to

work out my aggression against this PSC!!

One thing I don't understand or if anyone does - are these

complications CCA related or just PSC progression?

All,

I

have not said

anything on the M2 situation until now. It really has me very upset.

I am

angry that they allow people needing transplants to get this close to

the end

before transplanting. It really worries me. You almost have to plan

for a

living donor is what I am taking away from this. I know that is not

possible

for everyone, so where does that leave us? I am very sad, mad, and

ready to

find the cure. Generally speaking, I am put to the best use when I am

mad like

this.

When one of our PSC family is in distress it is felt all around the

world. I am sure we are linked from time immemorial by our genetic

disposition

My thoughts are with 2 her family and companions.

AMEN!!! I've told so many people that having that incredible sense of

peace is as mighty a miracle as any I've ever known or heard of, because

it's not a one-time thing; it is constantly being renewed ... every day

.... every hour ... every minute! It's one of those things you can't

really explain to someone else (kind of like falling in love). But

anyone who has ever felt it KNOWS exactly what you're talking about.

Yes indeed .... our God IS an awesome God.

Hugs to both s and their families,

1, I am just now reading all the news on M2. I am glad that

you were able to go and see her. It is good to have such a friend. I

am sorry to hear all that is happening and very distressing. I wish

you, Jay and M2, her family and friends God's blessings and peace at

this difficult time

Mike,

My understanding from M1 is that these complications are from what

they have tried to do to for M2 following opening her up for liver

tx and then finding the cancer. She has an infection that has spread

to her blood stream and her organs are shutting down.

I share the feelings of everyone here - I'm angry and so upset by

the news that we're about to lose another of our PSC warriors. I

pray that we'll be able to find a way to knock off this disease -

SOON!

Hang in there everybody!

,I printed your email out to share with the family, this was done for two reasons. One, they were asking if there are people on the group from other countries, and two, I want them to know that what you said is true...when one of our PSC family is in distress, it is felt all around the world! Thank you!

Dear ,

Your update on 2 brings up such a wealth of emotions: sadness, anger, and dismay about 2 together with awe for the love that you exhibit for her. I can certainly understand why her family has embraced you immediately. May everyone involved in this dreadful chapter find peace.

M2 update

Thank you, Joanne, Omaha Tim, Lee, , Kate for the kindness you've shown during this heartbreaking time for , her family and I! All of you have a special place in our lives. I will pass on all of your thoughts and prayers while I am here. Deb in VA, a very special thanks to you for allowing me to cry and rant when I learned of M2's condition, but more for understanding the emotions and thoughts that go along with it! I adore you!

Now, to M2...she was the best she's been, since I've been here, when I arrived last night. We got in around 9:00 p.m. and she was very aware of my presence and talked as much as she could, until she needed to rest. (She even thanked me for coming. I assured her thanks was not necessary, I wouldn't have had it any other way!) There were so many people in her room at the time we arrived - 15-20 is my guess. , her husband, greeted me at the door with a huge hug and then the room began to murmur, "Is that her? Is she here?" and a path to her bed was opened. Apparently, and had told M2 I was coming and she asked, "ST. Louis?," and then told them she needed details. was laughing when she told me the story. I didn't have any doubt that coming to Dallas was the thing to do, but it helped to know it made her so happy. Her family has adopted Jay and I, and 's mother is mothering me now, too -- they are amazing people! In fact, M2's brother and sister-in-law paid for a hotel room for us inside the hospital, so I could spend as much time with M2 as possible, AND be here should M2 get worse, or if my health worsened. I understand more and more every minute how turned out to be such a wonderful, loving individual!

I arrived in 's room around 9:00 a.m. this morning and she is noteably weaker. Some friends brought in some old pictures and she was able to enjoy them and even managed to say a few words -- which she had not been able to do today. Her goal, I am told, is to hang on long enough to see her step-daughter Chrissy (who she helped raise). Chrissy will be arriving at DFW at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow. I know that if CAN she certainly will hang on! Again, she is amazing!

She has told and that she has seen heaven already and they are all as prepared as they can be for her final resting place. As the song goes, "Our God is an awesome God!" That kind of peace and acceptance is hard, if not impossible, to find otherwise!

Thank you all again for your kindness and prayers! Much love and blessings to all of you!!!!

My heart is heavy, and like everyone else, I think we want to forget

that this outcome is a possibility of the serious disease that we, or

our loved ones, face every day. My prayers are with 's family

there and her family here on this site.
