I read a while back that completely healthy individuals stools should be well

formed to the point that toilet paper isn't necessary. In my house I seem to

always be buying it tho so we are not examples. (only on a list of parents,

would this come up).

Hi, round 11 of chelation..Day 2 and 3 soft diarrhea (i also had

diarrhea so I was thinking maybe a bug going around) now its very

thick like cement.I started primal defense 2 weeks ago and her stool

is darker..greenish..Any thoughts would the diarrhea then thick stool

be from chelation or something else..When she goes its always in her

panties..Thanks in advance...

Hello Phil,

I have this on and off too especially at the beginning of the diet.

I've read in one of my books that this means your liver is struggling

(sorry can't be more specific than that...) I suppose it has a lot

more to cope with during die off...

I'm taking milk thistle to help my liver and I'm certainly getting

less aches in my arm and right-hand ribcage. Also trying to eat more

vegetables to attempt to get things moving...

==>If you are eating too many carbs (all foods that are not classified

as protein or fats) you will get hard stools, and if you do not have

enough stomach acid. Ensure you are getting enough proteins and good

fats to aid digestion and increase the strength and health of the

intestines, along with digestive aids - see the Digestion Folder for

help with this. Are you also taking the supplements recommended, i.e.

cal/mag and vitamin C, cod liver oil, etc??
