Guest guest
Crys! First here is a biiig hug!((())))) Now, what I would do if I were you is measure your body. Arms, bust, thighs, hips, waist. My scale was not moving at all, but I have managed to drop 2 dress sizes. So... the scale does not alway's show what is really happening. Please keep that in mind. Also, weight loss should be a slow process (unfortunently! LOL) If you stay op you will lose the weight, the healthy way! Vent all you want. And Congratulations on the .5! That is awesome! -- Depressed...long Hi Everyone, Well yesterday was my weigh in, and I was so excited because I knew I was going to lose at least 2 pounds and get my ten pound ribbon, however the scale only budged a loss of .5 of a pound, and I was soooooo disappointed I wanted to cry. It has taken me 11 weeks to lose 9.5 pounds on weight watchers (I lost 8 pounds before weight watchers) whereas some people were saying last night that it took them 11 weeks to lose 25 pounds, I am sooo depressed about this. Soo unfortunately last night I went out and cheated and I felt guilty after, but I was just so unhappy about everything, my weight, love, money everything! I am in better shape this morning and I am still OP but I am still a little discouraged, I don't know why my body won't let me lose more than this in all this time, it will take forever to lose the 100 pounds I have to lose. Sorry all for having to hear my rant, but I figured you are the only people I could talk to who would understand. Thanks. Crys 240/222.5/130~There are no strangers here... Guest guest
Crys, Hang in there!! Don't get discouraged! Everyone losese at a different rate. Lets try figuring out how to help you not how to hurt your losses by cheating. You are posting your journals, so we will start giving better choice suggestions. Are you journaling every bite, lick , taste (BLT) honestly?? Are you drinking all your water?? Are you getting 5 fruits and veggies a day?? What about exercise?? Are you taking your measurements?? Have you seen a change in those?? A lot of time when you start working out you will see the muscle starts building and the scale will slow down or stop showing a change or even show an increase. Be sure to take your measurements because you may be losing inches even if the scale shows an increase. YOU CAN DO THIS AND YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! YOU WILL MAKE IT!!! Just take the time your body needs to get there and try to stay OP 24/7! We are all here to help you! Guest guest
Hi Maureen, I am posting everything, I don't usually taste anything so I don't have to worry about that, unfortunately, I do not get all my water in...I have the darndest time (even before weight watchers I hardly ever drank any drink let alone water, I am never thirsty), but I guess that is my problem, I don't drink enough, I don't eat enough fruits and veggies (I can't afford to buy them) and I hardly exercise (I go to the gym once a week). It is just that I haven't changed anything and I have been losing, I just didn't understand why this week. Guest guest
Crys, It may be time to give yourself a jump start! Try doing some extra activity. It could be anything.....walking, aerobics, weights, house cleaning, etc. Start with just an extra 10 minutes or whatever and then add a little every day or every other day and see what happens. You said that you don't drink enough water, do you know how much you drink? Guest guest
Awww Chrystal, Our bodies lose at different rates and at different ages too. I have been OP since March 6th and have lost a grand total of 9 pounds (I think)-- has my info and I've already forgot my starting weight. So long as you are eating healthier and feeling better health wise just go with the flow. If you lose too fast your skin won't catch up and it will hang loose. Together we can do this, Hugs Weezie Depressed...long Hi Everyone, Well yesterday was my weigh in, and I was so excited because I knew I was going to lose at least 2 pounds and get my ten pound ribbon, however the scale only budged a loss of .5 of a pound, and I was soooooo disappointed I wanted to cry. Guest guest
Crystal! I completely understand. Now much of my failure has been admiteddly my own fault, but some times it just sucks. My leader always says that sometimes that fat is just not ready to let go. Keep your chin up and try to stay OP. Hopefully next will find you better. HUGE HUGS!
