Guest guest
Tamaro told me that she used 4 oz of juice, with one whole clove of fresh, raw garlic crushed into it, twice a day for several weeks. Her boys were about 5 and 7 yrs old at that time, I think. She said it was by FAR the best anti-fungal she had ever used..... and they had tried plenty of others, prescription and natural. I know that their test results (from their DAN doctor) reflected an impressive decrease in yeast and bacteria..... but that was also after strict SCD for a year. I gave it to my daughter last fall/winter..... but had to syringe it into her mouth about a teaspoon at a time.... so we only got up to about 2 oz at a time. I don't remember her ever smelling like garlic.... but I was drinking it, too, at the time, so maybe I just didn't notice it because I smelled like garlic myself! I'm really not able to answer your other questions about how to know if the yeast were dying...... to be honest, I did not know for sure whether either my daughter or I actually had any yeast overgrowth (we didn't do any testing). I was just doing it as a preventative..... and it was cold and flu season so I was also trying to ward off the bad germs and build up our immune systems. (Plus, I got a great deal on a 25 lb. bag of organic juicing carrots.... and needed to use them up! ) Patti, mom to Katera, age 8 Carrot juice and garlic for yeast Have any of you tried this yeast regimin? If so, how much have you used, and when during the day. Did your child smell of garlic? How badly? Could you tell that the yeast were dieing? If so, how? We have been taking Candex (yeast killing enzymes) for the last 6 weeks or so, but I really can't tell any difference, so I want to try something else. Thanks for any help, Ann Sammy 5.5 Simon 2 SCD 10 months
Guest guest
Hi Ann, I think that in conjunction with the enzymes some pair up grapefruit seed extract, oregano, and garlic (in rotation) and find this to be pretty effective. Guest guest
I suppose to make this juice you need a juicer? I guess I will be asking Santa for a juicer for Christmas. I laugh at when people ask if you smell like garlic. I put garlic in ALMOST everything my son eats. He ALWAYS smells like garlic, I know he has yeast issues and I know how much garlic is a natural yeast fighter so it is in his scrambled eggs in the morning, in his hamburgers at lunch, meatloaf, ect. He does not mind it. You get used to the smell. ) __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Yes, you'll want to tell Santa to bring you a very nice juicer..... one that removes all the pulp from the fruits & veggies and gives you just the pure juice. Your little guy must have very few colds with all that garlic! Patti Carrot juice and garlic for yeast I suppose to make this juice you need a juicer? Guest guest
Isn't garlic supposed to be given freshly crushed and within an hour for the anti-pathogenic benefits? Guest guest
Hi Teri, Yes, I believe it has to be freshly crushed and consumed within the hour to be effective.
