See if you can get the injection Rochephin instead. It's just one

shot and easier than getting a kids to take medicines. It also

doesn't go through the digestive system.

It's only one shot and that's it? The oral medication is supposed to

be taken for 10 days.

Yup, one shot usually does it unless it is really severe. Parents of

ASD children I know suggest demanding this instead of oral

antibiotics. While the shot will kill bacteria in the gut too at

least it isn't right into the gut first (10 days in a row) thus it

decreases the amount of damage to the gut bacteria. As with Jody,

this is how they treated pneumonia when I was young.
