Hello , I wanted to say how sorry I am that your little boy

is sick. I wish I had more to offer and you might have to re post

your question -I really want to hear what Andy Cutler has to say

about your son problems. I think Andy has heard it all - so repost

if he does not answer you soon.

There is another group you might want to post your question at here

at sid_dsi you might join that group also.

,

Welcome to the list. Do the DDI hair analysis and apply counting rules for the

affected twin (and if in the budget for yourself and the asymptomatic twin as

well). Can anyone else touch this child's face or does he touch it with

anything? Getting close enough for a kiss may mean because of his

hypersensitive sense of smell he's smelling something which others may not

notice (he may be able to smell the food you ate earlier in the day just exuding

from your skin). I'm curious which foods he will eat.

Have you heard about NAET? Does he have dark circles under his eyes?

Ann, Thanks for the nice post and the heads up on the other group. I'll

definitely be joining that one, too. God bless.

, thanks for the reply! He will touch his face...puts his hands in his

mouth a lot. But no one else is allowed to. He wipes his mouth if I am

wrestling with him and kiss him when he isn't ready for it. I know his sense of

smell is acute. I have to brush my teeth before I talk to him in the

morning.....giving me a complex! hee hee His main food is toast with

butter...wants it with every meal. He will tolerate peanut butter and jelly,

pears, macaroni and cheese, soup with noodles only, applesauce, yogurt and

crackers. That is really about it (besides candy, of course....but he doesn't

get much of it.) No dark circles....I am going to read about NAET right now.

Funny, I thought I should get his twin tested as well. He showed some

sensitivity when he was younger, but it has since vanished. Interesting, huh?

Thanks for the testing information. It will help me immensely to know what I am

doing before I go to the doc.God bless.....

his face. Are their any smells he seeks out?

It may sound far-fetched when you first read it so read with an open mind.

Sounds like the asymptomatic twin eats a wider variety of foods. This may play

a significant role in his ability to detox the metals. Out of curiosity do you

recall when having the twins vaccinated did the doc usually do them in the same

order, i.e. twin A always first? Does either twin have mercury amalgam dental

fillings?

Is he thin, anxious, hyperactive, stress intolerant?

Hyperacute senses of smell, taste, and being extra sensitive to pain

are signs of an adrenal problem (among about 1,000,000 other possible

conditions).

, I also wondered too about whether or not M had more viruses

or fewer viruses than his twin... some of the autistic kids on the

boards have not been sick in YEARS, which is a sign of an abnormal

immune system... but if he has been sick MORE than his twin, then it

is possible that his immune system is weak/dysfunctional and he may

not be dealing with things well and that could be contributing to how

his body is responding to the food dyes/toxins/chemical triggers. I

also am wondering if some " anxiety " is connected to his sensitivities

in that he anticipates things happening, which then puts his body

into more of a fight/flight problem and that starts a whole chain of

events that then MAKE him even more sensitive to the odors of

food/seeing people eating, etc.

My son has sound sensitivity again with his fingers in his ears. He has had

it off and on since he was first diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder 8

years ago. I notice it whenever he is " detoxing " such as chelation or

treating viruses. Has anyone come up with anything to lessen sound

sensitivity during detoxification?
