Guest guest
Roxanne, Isn't it strange what doctors can do to WBC. I believe that's what he is saying, Margaret >>> Roxanne M Walters 10/31/02 06:09PM >>> LABORATORY REPORT: On 10/29/2002: CMP: BUN is 35, potassium 5.7, glucose 164, creatinine 2.0, albumen 3.0. The rest are normal. Repeat BMP on 10/30/2002: potassium came to a normal range 5.1, BUN is 37, creatinine 2.1, glucose normal 89. CBC on 10/29/2002: Hemoglobin 10.4, MCV 95.0, ___ 11.9, platelets 331,000, neutrophils 83.2. This blank (ESL) sounds like " double vitz " as in " double vitz 11.9 " Hope someone can help. Guest guest
>>it should be albumin<< Don't say it!! ;-) Actually, when I took a very close listen it sounded more like double vitzee. I went with WBC. If I am wrong...well, its too late now. Roxanne CS grad, April 2002 Scribes Data, multispecialty
Guest guest
Ok, I'm going to try this a FOURTH time and maybe...just maybe...I'll get it to everyone it's supposed to go to WITH an actual response! <g> Well, my reaction is " Wow! How did you DO that?? " and then realizing about 5 seconds later that that is what I'm learning to do and will be doing eventually. Then I go " Whoa! What have I gotten myself into now? " and smile to myself knowing it's going to be an incredible adventure and hoping that I will eventually " get it " . Sorry for all the extra mail from my mistakes. Guess I've been out of practice too long to remember how it works. Sylvia Roller M-TEC Student - Session 1-2 gentlsong@... AIM: Jntlsong ICQ: 383585 >Margaret is awesome! Guest guest
Yeah, Rennie - rub it in. I play pool at *least* three times a week, but they hardly ever say it to ME! Guest guest
Roxanne, WBC was correct. I'm not sure where this post about it being albumin came from, as that was evidently sent to you privately and then you responded to the list. I just went back over your original post, which showed that the value you were looking for was a part of the CBC, so you were correct to go with WBC. Albumin would not fit there, Margaret >>> Roxanne M Walters 10/31/02 07:33PM >>> >>it should be albumin<< Don't say it!! ;-) Actually, when I took a very close listen it sounded more like double vitzee. Guest guest
Margaret, I figured it out later--she meant that I spelled albumin wrong. :-P The quotes I send to the list are always pre-proofreading. :-) Roxanne
