Guest guest
I thought my ds was having symptoms of hypothyroidism. One of my main concerns was his temperature. His temperature readings range from 95.1(bordering close to hypothermia)-96.9. He has some other symptoms like dry skin, tiredness, joint pain, weight gain. His ped. tested his THS, T4, CBC, strep, and something that marks inflamation. They came back normal. TSH 1.43, T4 8.3. When asked, the ped explained the low body temp to be from inactivity. I don't buy that. My dh asked for a second opinion so the ped is going to refer us to an endocrinologist. If it turns out not to by a thyroid problem should we consider adrenal support or thyroid support supplements? Something is obviously (to me & dh anyway) going on with ds. Guest guest
Mercury toxicity affects the thyroid. Andy Cutler has said before that they need to check T3 & T4. My ds already takes Selenium, A, C, E, and flax seed oil. We tried b's and zinc but removed them due to hyperness. I'll look into the kelp, L-tyrosine, and multi glandular. Thank you for the suggestions. As for the Armour I don't think I'll be getting that untill we find a different doctor. We are definately looking. I appreciate your 2 Cents
