Guest guest
I would have been completely lost without my recliner...the suckiest part was getting out of it and having to " click " the thing to close, other than that, I was the most comfortable that way. About 2 weeks after surgery, I found the best way for me, was to have my husband wrap me up in a " cocoon " type thing (very tightly wrapped), and leave me there...again, the problem was when I had to pee in the middle of the night, and he sleeps so soundly, I had to page him to our phone #, then he yelled " I'm coming for ya my Lucy " !!! (nickname for me from him of course!)...I was SO STUCK in that damn cocoon, that when he " released me " I felt all puffy or something! Now I see why babies are so much more comfortable before the mom delivers one! LOL! Dawn Re: for those of you who had no one to help take care of you Peg I needed to use the stairs just to get in the house (2 flights) just take your time. that was probably the worst for me. I think you would be better off in your bed thatn the couch. If you have a recliner that is the way to go ! I do have a hubby, but to honest it was better with him in work. he did stay home long enough to get the kids off to school the 1st few days... then I was on my own. Some people rent a recliner. you could have that in your LR... Cheryl Tolleration is the greatest gift of the mind. Helen Keller
