inositol increases serotonin reuptake. If serotonin is already too

high it could cause problems

Ummm..... not exactly.

Inositol increases the second messenger that is emitted by the

receiving cell when it senses serotonin. So it doesn't affect

serotonin levels, it simply amplifies the signal.
