Guest guest
We have a recipie folder in our files section with protein shake recipies that are great. I add yogurt (Dannon because dannon is SO MUCH less in sugar) and then I get that raspberry sugar free syrup in the coffee isle and add that to my strawberry and raspberry shakes, YUM!! indiaink99@... wrote: That's good to know Mike. One of the websites actually talked about adding fruit to them in a blender. I get the strawberry ones but they taste a little weird, so adding frozen strawberries (no sugar) in a blender might make them taste better and add in some fruit serving too. They suggested also adding blueberries to the vanilla ones ... raspberries would probably work too. I'd not liked the vanilla ones, but those might be good options. I keep thinking, why can't I just do that without the surgery? I'd lose weight, right? Though obviously if I could I would have by now. Even my large successes with weight loss seem temporary. I guess if I have the surgery I'll just have to find out if the Atkins shakes make me dump or not ... I hope not .... I have a case of them. India Re: Website for protein shakes India, I have taken the Atkins shakes if I am going to be away from the house, like a camping trip or something like that. If its a hassle to carry my big tub of protein powder, I will take those. I have not dumped on them, and they taste ok. Its better than not getting any protein in, like if your on the go all day on a trip some place.........Good luck Mike T Re: Website for protein shakes > In a message dated 8/24/06 4:59:39 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > snoopy4jtro@... writes: > >> I've been told they have alot of fat - fat is not very tolerable to WLS >> patients. >> > > This is regarding Atkins shakes ... they only have 1 g of sugar and they > have > 9 g of fat ... is 9 g a lot?
