Guest guest
Big Welcome , I'm in Pine Bluff Ar. I too have had injuries, accidents and surgeries so it's no wonder I've ended up w/FM. Amitriptyline is very affordable as I was on it for 19 yrs. Today I am on Celexa,Straterra(a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor simular to an ingredient in Cymbalta)Robaxin(muscle relaxer)Klonopin, Ambien,Lyrica and a few others. Robaxin isn't to awefully expensive. Chances are a local Church may help you w/the cost of your meds, I myself have had to ask for help w/meds my medicare doesn't cover. there are many great people in this group and I'm sure you find that out for yourself if you stay. WE are happy to have YOU join. I wish you the best!!! I hope you find the Love, encouragement and support I have found since joining 9mo. ago. GOD Bless YOU ! ! ! . . . .................................................................................\ ............................. P.B. Ar. I have a n 8yr old girl.I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for 2 years or so. I wasinjured in 1999 in a work related injury, and hurt my knee, I have hadseveral surgeries on both knees, with little releif. I finally saw adoctor that figured out that alot of my pain was probably from myFibromyalgia, triggered by my accident, but of course they are notgoing to pay for anything related to Fibromyalgia. So therefore I haveno insurance and no money, and am unable to work.I have taken everything from Darvocet, Vicoden, Loracet, Percocet,Soma, Flexeril, and sleeping pills. I was so doped up that I was likea zombie, but was still having alot of pain. I got a new doctor whotook my cane away and told me to get off of all that crap I was on.It was very hard but I did it. He gave me Cymbalta and Amitripline, and some other things but I was unable to get them filled because Ididn't have the money. Fortunately, I was able to get the Cymbaltafrom the company that makes it. I was taking Cymbalta for a while andit was helping pretty good. Then I ran out about 2 months ago and havehad nothing but, darvocet.I have been in such pain and so depressed that I just want to curlinto a ball and die...but of course I can't do that. So, anyways that is my story in part.... Sorry for being so negativebut that is just how I feel now... Hope you won't kick me out. Thanks for letting me vent... _________________________________________________________________ Don't get caught with egg on your face.
